I can't remember the funny story of this week, but a few weeks back I did a spectacular AOT all because the dog stopped in front of me...

HI

My toilet training nearly 3 year old came running up to me crying, mummy mummy something came out of my bottom. Off I went to look and you guessed it he did his first nappiless poo. The look of amazement on his face when I told him what it was ok it was just a poo was priceless. lol

girl size 4 please.

The funniest thing that happened to me this week is...I was at a shopping center with my teenage daughter. While I ran into the store, she waited in the car. I came back out and arrived at my car. I tried to pull the handle up and it was locked. I looked in an my daughter wasn't there. I was thinking now where did she get off to. I figure she decided to come in so I waited by the car waiting for her to come back out. It was probably 3 minutes or so and an older gentleman and lady walked up to the car and asked if they could help me. I said "Oh no, I am just waiting for my daughter to come out". Well the lady then says, can I please get to my door so I can get in my car?" I looked at her, then looked at the car. Oh my goodness, that isn't even my car. It looked just like it, tinted windows and all. I turned bright red and looked for my car. There my daughter was pointing and laughing hysterically. I get into my car and she says "I was wondering what you were doing". LOL

For a girl, please.

It must have been my son gently making fun of his father's dutch accent while trying to speak portuguese... we always have a good laugh about it!

I would love to win that cute little dress!

Please don't enter me into the giveaway (no children here!) but had to share the funny moment I had opening the page... the screen cut off before the caption under the diaper, and it looked for a moment like you were giving away a baby. :D

Have fun with the giveaway!

this week... my daughter looked up at me as I was changing her and smiled. Then she peed on me. It wasn't funny at the time but it is now :) - the girl gift would be great.

Funniest story you say? Well, yesterday my son (5 years old) asked for my help to write a letter to Santa. After completing that he got another piece of paper and started scribbling (fake writing) on it. I told him Santa couldn't read it unless he wrote real letters. What was his response? "Mommy, this letter isn't for Santa. It's for a hobo!"

WHAT?! He doesn't even know what a hobo is! I was on the floor, tears in my eyes, cracking up.

I would totally get the dress for the girl. My son hasn't worn nappies in years and we hope to have my daughter out of them soon!

I love that beautiful dress!

My funny thing happened when I was shopping this past weekend--the three-year-old boy my friend was babysitting dropped a couple of cuss words in the checkout line. The very busy checkout line. At the top of his lungs. Everyone around us looked at us like we were monsters--but hey--I didn't teach him those words!

Daisy said...

I love the girl dress. The funniest thing I did was stock a man walking his 2 beautiful dogs. I just had to know what kind they were. This is totally not something I would normally do but they were beautiful. Thanks for the chance to win.

Bea said...

Funniest thing so far this week?! We asked our twin daughters (2.5 years old) the other day what they would like to be when they grow up. And both said, without hesitation and in unism "Hockeydudes"! Our 7 year old son plays hockey, and I guess they want to be just like him ;-)
Thanks for the chance to win. If I am the lucky one I would love to get the dress.

adriane said...

Yesterday, on my way inside with my tired little one, she said "my energy is out of breath!" I thought that was very apt!
Would love the nappy!
Thanks!

I would love the little girl dress. The funniest thing that happend this week was watching my 4 year old teach my 1 year old how to dance.

my daughter would look so cute in this dress! thanks for the chance to win!

I'd love the little girl dress. The funny thing didn't happen to me, but our dog really cracks me up. She is 8 mo old and it's her 1st Christmas. We set up our decorations on Monday and she just noticed the nutcracker I set up in our family room last night and proceeded to growl and bark at it for an hour! Every so often after that she'd go back over and give it the evil eye and growl a bit more. :)

JoyLeanne said...

I would love the little girl prize. Nothing particularly funny has happened this week. Pretty low key. I am amused that my daughter keeps asking me to sing Fabrbram. (Father Abraham) and then head bangs to the whole song.

Laurel said...

Funny story of the week? My daughter was wandering around the house this morning carrying a statue of the Baby Jesus, and singing it a song that went: "I love you, Baby Jesus, I hope you sleep well..." over and over.

I would love the girl prize. Nothing too funny here, except my littlest daughter (18 months old) walking into my in-laws a few nights ago, pointed at a deer head mounted on the wall, and asked her Grandpa, "Moo?" (She should get a new dress for such cuteness, right?)

Wow that dress is super duper pretty! I think you mentioned that they are newborn sizes in your previous post, and that would certainly be a lovely first picture outfit. I'd love a girl prize.

Well now that I'm trying to think of something funny...how about this...it was my Dad's birthday last weekend. My parents came over to take my daughter to a local children's museum. As they were getting their tickets the cashier asked my daughter if she was looking forward to getting in. She nodded and said very seriously, "Yes I here to watch over Papa. He's gets into trouble sometimes and you know what that means!"

We all laughed hysterically and only realized that no we didn't know what that means!

sb said...

The funniest thing this week was when I was typing a message to a friend on Facebook and decided to make up my own word: non-germaphobness. Firefox immediately red-underlined my word and gave me the suggestion of "hermaphrodite." It gave me a little giggle and my husband got a good laugh too.

Since I have a little girl, I would love the dress. (Although, I am a cloth diapering fiend, so the diaper would be a great prize too!)

The Schaper Scene said...

I got into the backseat to unbuckle my daughter and get her jacket on since it was pouring rain only to discover that I had left the child locks on! Oops! I had to climb over the front seat to get out of the car. This is the second time I have done this too!

I would choose the girl prize.

That dress would be great for my daughter, who I am potty training, just started today. Need I say that the funniest thing that happened was when she peed on the floor (stood up from the potty) and clapped that she went pee. She's so pleased with herself and she really is doing great for being so young still.

Natural Violet said...

I would love to win the boys prize. Probably the funnies thing is giving my son pears and edamame as a snack. He chose the edamame and fed me the pears.

I would love to win the girl dress for my little girl. She's a year old next month :) My daughter just learned to play peek a boo back to us and does it constantly now. It's hilarious and she cracks me up every time :)

So cute! I love the Girl's Dress! What size is it for? The funniest thing that happened to me this week...well I was on the bus and they missed my exit :(. I had to get off, walk across the highway (well, over the overpass, I was safe), get back on the bus in the other direction! It was humorous and only slightly annoying!

The funniest thing this week has been watching one of the kids in my school concert suddenly realised he was in front of an audience, stopped in the middle of the stage and with a big grin on his face started waving wildly at a random person in the crowd - not even his own Mum!

I'd love to win a prize for a little girl - so many baby girls in my life!

Oh I love this giveaway! I would love the girl dress since I have a one year old.
To me the funniest/cutest thing that happened this week, was my daughter has just discovered trying to dress herself. So I heard her crying upstairs and I went to check on her, and she put both her legs in one pant leg and couldn't move. She didn't like it one bit, but I thought it was funny!

The funnies thing that happend to me lately was my daughter (2.5 years) sitting in the shopping cart and seeing the candy in the check out line and turning to me and saying, "Trick or Treat". I laughed. And, yes, she got the candy.

The dress is beautiful, I'm definitely a girl prize person. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I think the funniest thing that happened to me was the giant poop explosion that happened in the bathroom at the store, courtesy of my 3 month old! And of course, I had forgotten the wipes! Thank you for the giveaway! I would love to have the chance to win the cloth diaper. :)

Hi,
Yesterday I had my beautiful little girl, Charlee-rose, on my back in the carrier. She was getting restless & a friend gave her a red lolly pop. I thought she had eaten the entire thing. Later I discovered she hadn't when I found it stuck in my hair!!! LOL.

Last week my 5 year old grabbed a piece of paper, covered it with random letters, and asked me to take a picture of it. When I asked her what it was, she informed me it was "my first will and testiment". I have NO idea where she heard about that!

I'd love that dress

Holly said...

I have two girls, so I would choose the girl gift. It's so beautiful! The funniest thing that happened to me this week...my daughter was learning her Bible verse for AWANA tonight, and had a hard time remembering the reference. She thought for a minute and then said, "Psalm 136:435-3593" - adding our phone number to the end instead of the verse numbers (# changed for purposes of public commenting, of course).

I have two little girls and would love the girl gift. It is absolutely beautiful. The funniest thing that happened to me today was getting a note from my son's teacher saying he got in trouble for kissing the class picture. When I asked him he said he was kissing the picture of a little girl because he couldn't kiss her for real.(she wouldn't let him)

Tanya said...

I love that dress, it's adorable! Funniest thing...I have a three year old so we usually have lots. One that didn't happen this week but still worthy of mentioning: we were driving along and my daughter blurts out "I told meself I'm a great woman" and another we were eating supper and she says "people think I'm great". I love how she comes up with the funniest things but is totally serious about them!

Care said...

Yesterday I was laughing to tears watching my 8mo daughter headbanging to music. She wouldn't quit, either -- just kept going and going!

funny thing...i don't know... i made my students laugh by joking about their etiquette when it comes to eating. we were discussing the proper way to eat things in Italy. they got a really kick out of it.

Not much funny this week unless you count the usual things like going to a meeting with grown ups dressed in business suits while I tried to pick glitter specks off of all of my exposed flesh (arms, hands, ankles, neck, etc). The hazards of being a crafter...

I have a little boy but I'm in love with your dresses! Someday we'll have a little girl....or I'll pass it on to one of the gorgeous little ones I know!

This week my son has fallen in love with green lights. Every time we're at a stoplight he's shouting from the backseat "geen, GO!" until it turns green! Cracks me up every time!

Sarah said...

That dress would be perfect for my little girl :)

My daughter is 26 months, and yesterday while we were in the middle of another long potty sitting session she leaned forward and whispered to me. "I know secret of the Christmas Tree". I had no clue what she was talking about, so I asked her "What is the secret of the Christmas Tree?". She dropped her voice even lower and replied "presents".

Libby said...

I'd love the little boy diaper ! I have a little cutie that would look great in it !

My funniest moment involved the happiness that my son showed when he discovered that his tshirt had Elmo on it - he was looking down at it for a half hour, just THRILLED that it was Elmo.

Megan said...

The funniest thing that happened this week is listening to my two year old talk. She is extremely verbal for her age and can talk just as well or better than her three year old brother. The funniest thing though is listening to her say, "Don't pester me Clay!" in her bossy voice when her brother just won't leave her alone. Thanks for doing a giveaway! And I'd prefer the girl prize! sales4mp@gmail.com

Morgan said...

Funniest thing this week is getting out our Christmas decorations including one odd-ball snowman that moves and sings "Ice Ice Baby" and learning that the 13-month old thinks it is AWESOME. He will point at it and dance a little until we turn in on. :)

So it's the boy nappy for me - can't have enough of 'em.

My baby just got his first teeth, which I can feel, but you can't really see yet. So, my 3 year old daughter was disappointed she couldn't see them. Later she came and told me that she could "feel his teeth with my tongue!"

I would love either prize since I happen to have both a little girl and a little boy. The funniest thing that happened to me this week doesn't translate very well into text, but when my husband and I went to grab a coffee, my two year old girl walked up to the barista while we had our backs turned and demanded a coffee! Maybe it was more cute and a little disturbing than funny...

Funniest thing this week was when my 2-year old son told my husband to go to time out...

Love your blog. Love Missy Higgins playing on it. Love the prizes. Hmmm. I pick the girl's dress. The funniest thing that has happened to me? My daughter said: I don't wnat this old phone any more, mom (my old cell). It is weird.

The funniest thing that happened here is the puppies, we have two left and when I take them out for backyard time they always go in different directions, and I am no longer a spring chick able to keep up with the little kids. I'm torn, my son would look cute in the minkee nappy but my daughter would really rock that dress . . . so have to go with dress.

Hmmm - funnies thing this week, well it was more shocking then funny. I was playing with my 15 month old when she suddenly stood up, walked over to the gate at the stairs and said "buh-bye" I thought she just wanted to climb the stairs but when she got to the top, she grabbed my hand, walked me to the bed and said, "nigh, nugh" I guess she wanted a nap!! I chuckled and nursed her to sleep. Crazy kid. I would like the girl gift if I am lucky enough to win.

We left without buying anything but we all got a chuckle. Happy Holidays

hello there! both your prizes are lovely, but count me in for the girl dress, please! it made me wish i was 1 again so i could wear it myself!
the funny thing that happened to me was that we had a national holiday and a good friend of mine came spend the day with me because she needed to use my sewing machine. we spent the whole day talking nonsense, because coincidentaly both had slept few hours so we were so distracted and never understood the words the other one was saying. there were lots of funny misunderstandings the whole day long. then we went to grab a bite and my husband couldn't understand why we were acting like teenagers, because he wasn't in on the jokes. his face was so confused it even made us laugh more, poor guy. he thought my friend was crazy and a bad influence on me!!! i'm laughing now just to remember it!!!

The funniest thing that has happened around here recently happened to my 13-year-old son. We were painting the laundry room without moving the washer and dryer all the way out, so it was pretty crowded. We were just shuffling them around to get to all the walls. My son bent down to paint near the bottom of the walls, and I heard him say, "I think I just got paint in my hair." Sure enough. He had bent over and touched the whole top of his head to the freshly painted wall. The hair on top of his head was cricket green.

I love the girl dress - so adorable! The funniest thing that has happened this week is that, once again, I failed at roasting a turkey. I apparently have a mental block about it, but

It's more embarrasing than funny, but I farted out loud after the end of a shakespere play...hehehe

A very interesting dream about trying to find a bathroom--you really don't want to know more than that!

The funniest thing that happened to me is that five minutes ago my son said that our next baby should be named "Toot Sweet" and that it'll need clothes. (We aren't expecting a new baby any time soon.) I like the girl dress- SO CUTE!

Funny story... we are 7 months pregnant and have a 2 and 3 year old... the 3 year old finally felt the baby kick, and he pulled his hand back very quickly with a look of shock and disgust on his face... completely priceless!

Watching my daughter try to lick the grocery cart like it was a salt block was the highlight of my week. then I was grossed out! I would love to win the girl gift! Thanks so much

The funniest thing this week has got to be attending my 4 yo's first ever kinder concert and seeing her yawn the whole way through while other kids sat so badly that the entire audience could see their underwear! They all tried so hard but it really was just a bit too much for a bunch of 4 yo's to stay still for so long, LOL.

P.S. I'm not sure what sex baby my sister will have so I would pick the boy prize as it's a bit more unisex.

I love that dress. I would have to pick the girl's giveaway.

Yesterday morning I came downstairs to find half a box of cereal spilled on the table and floor with my runny-nosed 18-month-old standing on a chair with a big smile. At least there was no milk involved! Dry cereal isn't very hard to sweep up.

the funniest thing that has happened this week is the 15 month old talking to herself in the mirror and making funny faces. i was crying, i laughed so hard. i would take the girly-girl dress for said funny lady.

Ammieloris said...

Oh, perfect! My little boy always loves new nappies. :)

This week the funniest thing that happened was that my son learned how to cry when he doesn't mean it. (Well, perhaps that's not particularly funny, but it has us laughing--as an alternative to crying--quite a lot!)

Boy prize please! I love it when there are things for boys...

Wow, the dress is beautiful! Girls prize please.
Funny thing...you'd think that would be an easy one. My three year old is constantly making me laugh with his stories. I especially love it when he does something he shouldn't and reassures me about it "It's OK mommy". Thanks for the great giveaway!

Yesterday when I walked in the door my husband said to my daughter "Mama's home!" My little one yelled "Uh-oh!"

Adorable.
And so are your dresses - I would love the little girl prize for my little comedian!

The boy prize would be prefect, as I have a boy and we do cloth diapering. A funny thing that happened this week ... my son learn how to shake jingle bells. He thinks it's funny, I just need to find the ear plugs :)
Thanks for the chance to win. curry(dot)jessica(at)gmail(dot)com

Both are beautiful. I have a 3 year old girl and a 1 year old son.
My funny story for the week...
My son has been fascinated with the pantry since he turned 9 months old and started walking. He spends the entire day rearranging the cabinets...usually to different rooms of the house. Today when I went to make lunch, I looked in the pantry for a new bottle of mustard and couldn't find it. I spent a good hour going through the house trying to find the mustard and finally gave up.
Later my husband came out of the bathroom and asked why we started storage the mustard in the toilet...
Thanks! Lisa :)

The funniest thing that happened this week...

I was talking to my goddaughter and she told me that she didn't like people calling African Americans black. Because, she said, they are brown! She is only 2 and a half. And she continued to color her picture of her "brown" friend.

I would like the girl prize. :)

My two youngest spend all their time pretending to be one animal or another. My son is a squirrel 98% of the time lately and has decided his little sister should be a fox. But she wants to be a kittie and will say kittie when you ask what she is and then follow with a very convincing "meow".
I think I would choose the diaper even though it would be for my daughter-blue is fine for little girls too. Her stash is getting very thread bare and I haven't had a chance to replenish it as much as I would like to.
Thanks for the giveaway!
